# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • Having ready-to-go wellness shots means I actually stick to healthy habits instead of forgetting until Im already feeling run down
  • The combination of spicy ginger and bright lemon wakes up my senses better than coffee on sluggish mornings
02 -
  • Fresh turmeric stains everything it touches. I have permanently marked towels, countertops, and once my favorite wooden spoon. Wear an apron and clean up immediately
  • Straining is nonnegotiable for texture. I tried skipping this step once and ended up with fibrous chunks that ruined the drinking experience
03 -
  • If you can find young ginger at Asian markets, use it. The skin is thinner and the flavor is less fibrous than mature ginger
  • Freeze your ginger and turmeric roots before blending. They actually grate and blend easier when frozen
